I am Eero, an architect based in Tampere, Finland. Originally from Nurmo in Southern Ostrobothnia, I draw constant inspiration from the wide horizons and clear structures of the Finnish landscape. My approach to architecture is guided by a deep respect for both the place and the planet.
I hold a degree from the Oulu School of Architecture, where I shaped my understanding of clarity, proportion, and the honest use of materials. These principles continue to guide my architectural expression, allowing me to combine Nordic restraint with a contemporary sensitivity to context and detail.
My design process is rooted in collaboration. I believe each project evolves through open dialogue with clients, engineers, and builders, ensuring that the final result reflects a shared vision and practical insight. I view architecture as both an intellectual and a hands-on discipline where ideas are refined through experimentation and craftsmanship.
With a versatile background in architecture and urban planning, I work across a wide range of projects, from small-scale buildings to large public spaces. Since 2019, I have gained experience in both renovation and building design as well as urban planning. This variety allows me to approach complex environments with both technical and strategic understanding. The ultimate aim is to create architecture that responds to its surroundings, serves everyday life, and stands the test of time.
